Subject: Upgrading my XP computer

E. Kansas
Yes, I am still using XP with great success. But, I have been thinking about buying Windows 7 Prof 32 Bit from Amazon for $47 and 4 gigs of RAM (The max for my motherboard) for $26. My processor is AMD Sempron 2.0 GHz. Would you guys do this or go another route? We only use the computer for Quickbooks, internet surfing, Office, and other simple stuff. I see on Amazon a remanufactured with Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz and 8 Gigs of ram and 64 Bit Windows 7 installed for $150. This seems like a good deal for what I get, but is twice the money. Yes, I am a tight ars, but we don't use the computer a whole lot. Just wanting something that can get us another 4 or 5 years. Thanks for any help.
