Subject: Does Orthman repair bars, or offer individual sections?

Hey All,

We bought at an auction a 12R30 flat fold orthman 7x7 bar, and like fools we did not check it over well enough before buying, and it appears the previous owner hooked a wing on an obstacle, and it buckled the main bar right where the ram anchor pin is and ripped the bar.

It has a slight bow from the pin on out, and they tried to weld it back together, including welding some of the hitch components to the bar.

So, I ask you guys, has anyone ever had any luck buying a new center section (minus rams and hitch) from Orthman, and what kind of costs can be expected?

Or, if its too much, do you think something like this could be repaired? would a guy cut out the damaged section and weld in a short chunk with a new ram anchor point, or would it be repairable as is? (sorry, didnt get any pics)

Any input appreciated,

Thanks!
