| 2 scenarios the 30 yr treasury has completed a pattern that forms quite a bit of the time near tops of markets and has strict guidlines hence the risk is relatively tight. In the chart below you will see prices test this upper line at 16315 and close underneath it. I do not want to see a close above 16315 if this pattern is to hold and reverse. (the second scenario allows the 30 yr treasuries to move closer toward 16415.) As the first scenario has not invalidated yet and held the 16315 I will be watching for a top to be put in and will be starting a short position in interest rates at these levels.... ( remember when futures fall interest rates rise) .
