Subject: Are farm auctions a good place to sell used precision equipment?

I'm looking for opinions on how to sell a used Trimble CFX-750 display, an AG25 GNSS receiver, flow control module, and cabling. I was thinking of using the AgTalk classifieds which I think would get me the most money but also be the most time consuming (which is scarce). My other option is to put it on an Uncle's farm auction in late March. The auction option is attractive because it wouldn't consume as much of my time. Would I be unhappy with the price these items would bring on an auction? If they did go on the auction, I would make sure they are listed on the sale bill.
