Jefferson Co. Florida | I am installing the Deere autotrac steering kit (EH valve, computer, Flowmeter, and steering wheel angle sensor) on my 8420 to run a 2630/3000 RTK. My dealer said that wheel angle sensors are not available for this tractor, but everything I have read is that the wheel angle sensors really improve the steering accuracy. This system is an upgrade from an outback S3/edrive rtk, so for the money it is costing me I want the best possible results from the system. I trust the dealer, but they don't do a lot of retrofits, just mainly newer stuff with all plug n play. So, I'm just wondering if I really need wheel angle sensors and if so how can I get them if the dealer won't get them.
