| I have one field that needs tile on the hillside- now this is a very gentle slope like 1% or 2% max. I am finding conflicting info about the direction at which to place the drain tile.
Some say to tile with the coutour....that is up and down the hillside.
OThers are saying to go against the countour, that is sideways or perpendicular to the hillside.
I have plans to go across the hillside at a slight angle up the hillside.
