Francis Creek, Wi. | Credible reports of counterfeit corn and soybean seeds being sold in this area in the last few years. Apparently grown at the home farm of a former seed company regional sales rep. Cleaned and treated and sold under the brand name of his former employ. A number of farmer/dealers in on it. Seed company owner personally visited neighboring farmers who bought the seed with local sheriff's dept.. Next day, Monsanto and Syngenta reps. on the farms. (seed was round-up ready, and Liberty Link). Today, Wi. Dept of Ag. on the farms. I would say "I wouldn't want to be in their shoes!", but I don't think they'll have shoes or underwear left when this is over. | |
