Central PA | Wanted to get some opinions on this subject. Is there a demand for this type of job in a crop and vegetable farming operation? Kicking around the idea....What are your experiences with this position in a farming operation? How many acres/employees justify hiring a person for this position? What would be a starting salary and benefits for this position. One of my biggest concern is when you get a good person how do you keep them? Where do you find a person with these qualifications that wants to work in Ag? I'm not sure I'm at this point in my operation, I wanted to see where you guys were at when you decided you need a farm manager on your farm. | |
