Subject: Conventional Soybean Switch?

SD
Im looking at switching 1/4 to 1/2 of our soybean acres to conventional soybeans. The seed I'm looking at costs $17 a unit. It looks like chemicals would cost about $10 more per acre, so Im still $13 an acre less than RR2 soybeans. I know it would only take 2 bu. of soybean yield to make up the difference but the seed saving's right off the bat is tempting due to the possibility of a crop failure every year and the low prices expected for 2016.
