near dyersville iowa | First off. I know its poor management, but I got delayed getting my feeder calves sold by two weeks. So Im running out of bulk starter feed today. The calves go Friday. All I have on hand is shelled corn and hay. Tomorrow I can go get bags of 20% calf starter if I need to. It's 25 calves and I'm wondering if there is a cheaper way to feed them for a week. 450 lb avg. I have no way to crack the corn or mix it. So I need about a thousand pounds of mix. Any other ideas? | |
