Subject: Laptop recommendation for a college student???

Kentucky

My daughter's computer crashed a couple of months ago and so guess what she's getting for Christmas? She will be starting college next fall and is taking a couple of online dual credit courses next semester. I'm looking for recommendations in a laptop - brands, best buys, minimum specs, etc.
