What would be a ballpark number for the cost to put in a continuous flow dryer, hopper bottom, and pneumatic air system? The dryer would need to be able to do 6-700 bu/hr., and the air system would be short runs to three bins. We've also got a small 3,000 bushel bin with an air floor already, would it be cost effective to modify this into a hopper bottom or go with a new one? Also is there any reason to stay away from a used dryer?

We're currently using stirrators and I'm jut looking for an idea of what it would cost to switch to a dryer and air setup. It appears the consensus on here is that once you switch to a dryer you'll never go back. Not looking to do anything immediate, but wouldn't mind looking into it for the future.
