Subject: Any Silage Yield Checks NW Iowa?

Farming in NW Iowa
My neighbors are busy chopping silage and he told me this morning a lot of guys are going to be disappointed in yields. He said about 170 will stop it in his fields. This is in northern Sioux County IA. We had a pretty dry July and Aug 16 thru 18 3.5 inches of rain. Probably too late to help the corn out. Also seeing a lot of Goss' wilt, especially in fields with Dekalb signs on the edge.
