| Saw the custom chopping crews out Saturday. So I had to stop and ask about the conditions. They said the corn is really falling apart fast. It's drying fast and earlier than most expected. There was a comment made that hopefully the cool weather sticks around for a few weeks otherwise they are afraid the latter chopped corn will be too dry. A week ago it was green top to bottom now it is fired up
Take it for what you paid for it. Plant health may be a problem even in areas where there was no major problems all summer. | |
