| If you all can stand another corn pic... here is my first corn crop. Planted May 6 into perfect conditions and timely rains. I did screw up population somewhat.. I think final stand count was 22-24k per acre.
Anyway, most of it is 16 around, some 18, 36 to 40 long. Kernels are big.. can't wait to see what it yields. 85 day maturity. It seems like quite a few of the cobs outgrew their husks, exposing the ends to bird damage. No tip back.. ground tested poor so I basically did all for fertility this year.
