Subject: another bunker silo question

Just outside downtown Prairie Hill
We've been using hay bales lined with plastic for the last few years for the walls and dirt with a small amount of lime down for the floor. We are looking to up grade. The plan is to dig a trench silo @ 3-4 ft deep and use that dirt for walls. I'm thinking of @ 36-40 wide. Question is how tall will this wall be and can we use a silo that deep? Are there issues with silage too deep? Lower end of this trench silo will be at ground level. Other things to consider? Thanks Oops...forgot to mention the main objective is to get concrete down and get out of the mud...
