I was sure I posted back and said a new CMOS battery cured the problem. I'm sorry that evidently I didn't. I've been using the computer for months now and because of a post below I went to check on my original post. Discovered I never said thanks. That was the first time a battery acted like that. Before as I mentioned all they did was forget the computer had a HD ect.
