Subject: Label requirements - Cover crop/grazing

Oklahoma
I know labels are the law and have to be followed. However I know some things aren't labeled just because they don't want to test for this or that. So this or that pesticide is not labeled for grazing so can't apply to that crop. However what if the crop is perennial, then does it become the growing season? Where does the restriction end?

Issue that brought this up, pecan trees with Bermuda/winter annual grass understory, Bermuda is hayed at the moment. Lots of winter annuals in the Bermuda where the plan was to bale ryegrass/clover/vetch hay off it but too late, too wet, the annuals are laid over and junk. Pecans will need scab treatment within a week due to all the water and moisture. Thought was that we will end up mowing the junk annuals down and leaving the residue if and when it ever dries out with the plan to bale the grass later in the summer. But if we apply fungicide before we mow that, does the restriction go with the cover/residue or the later grass crop? What about winter annuals coming up next winter that might be grazed if fencing is up? Typically don't apply fungicides with grazing restrictions but looking at different MOA to help with cost and residuals especially in the wet weather pattern.

Thanks

Edit for grammar
