East central Iowa | I have a Toshiba laptop of a friends and it's driving me nuts. I got everything working but on boot it flashes a message;
Boot Failure P4 MAT****A DVD-RAM UJ890ES
As it happens that's the DVD drive on the computer. The computer boots and doesn't seem to have any problem other than this darn message. I can't give it back to him with it doing this, he'll think there is something wrong with it, and so long as this message displays I guess there is.
Is there something I can edit to get rid of this message or what's happening?
Okay, the website is putting stars in for the rest of the name of the DVD. It's another word for fecal material but that is the real name of the drive.
