North Central Iowa, Humboldt County
Roy Smith has a rule to sell corn May first. Most years there is a run up in prices and it makes a lot of sense. Not so much this year. Do you sell it on the board and add the anticipated gain to the final price or forward contract thinking this is as good as it gets. I believe planting pace may put pressure on the market and may lead to lower prices until we see a reason to rally.

What's your plan?
