The other night we ate at Rendevous in Memphis. Great atmosphere and service, food........we just didn't care for the sauce and the cole slaw. A sweeter sauce would have made all the difference.
Yesterday we ate at Blues City Café. The ribs were much better, and the sauce was much better. The service was just fair. Took longer than it should to take our order. Had to ask for sauce, (extra charge) and more coffee. Wait staff was indifferent to us. If they had Blues ribs at Rendevous, it would be a knockout.
Been through Tupelo today to see Elvis' birthplace and the car museum. | |
