ne iowa | I bought an old cow with no teeth from my neighbor about a month ago. She was cheap and was 7 months pregnant. She was very thin. She came from a hobby farm that I know has no vaccinations or parasite control. I gave her a generous dose of a pour-on. She gets corn silage and ground corn and is gaining weight albeit slowly; BUT the cow has a persistent cough. I suspect internal parasites. Maybe I should give her a shot of Long Range? What do others think? Is there any pregnancy restrictions? Do cows get lung worms like hogs? I have more experience pigs. Thanks | |
