NC Iowa | mentioned below about not telling cdl doc about cpap use. good advise, especially if you do cpap yourself off of craigslist. i got mine renewed yeaterday. the guy ahead of me mentioned cpap, and was told he would have to bring in medical doctors report and his card would only be good for one year.
on my medical at chriopractor yesterday, what a joke. he asked if i could see and pee. took blood presure and hit my arms and knee with a rubber hammer. he missed and hit my arm too hard on the bone. i told him. it still hurts. not that i wated a through exam anyway, but shocked at the casual attuitude.
he asked about any issues or meds. i mentioned blood pressure and cholesterol pills, which about everyone my age is on. because i mentioned blood pressure pills, now my card is only good for one year instead of two. wish i would have known about that or i might have forgot to mention it. fifty bucks, only good for a year, bummer.
