Iowa | I am trying to add extra flasher/turn signal lights to the back of a 4045 Deere sprayer. There are 4 wires going into a 4 pin connector on the (power side). The other side of the connector (the light side) is a 4 pin but only uses 2 pins. When I test the feed side #4 is ground and #1 is constant power. That's the two that line up with the 2 pins on the light connector. Simple enough, must get the flash from the light itself? So when you turn the signal on and one side is flashing and the other side is constant that is where I am puzzled. Everything tests the same at the connection wether flashing or constant. I have done this on the last 2 4940's with no problem. I made a Y harness so that I could unplug the connection and add my lights without cutting any wires.
