Subject: Broken leg calf????

Have a set of twins about a week old. Both seemed fine right after birth, but at 2 days old, we noticed one had a swollen right front leg. He and his brother both suck mama very well (have supplemented with milk replacer as well to make sure they aren't shorted) He gets around quite well on 3 legs, but just doesn't want to use the swollen one very often. The leg has a bow to it. He may have gotten stepped on before we got them sorted off. Not sure if it is broken not. If it is broken, would a splint help? Is there anything else I can do to help him? He and the other twin and mama are in their own pen. I figured if he can only use 3 legs, we would keep all 3 of them around the lots in a small pasture this summer and keep him as a butcher calf. Never had this before. Any suggestion are appreciated and welcome. TIA
