| Here is the quick story on my plant. It was given to my Grandmother's Grandmother on their wedding day sometime I would say about 100yr ago. This plant was never re-potted (according to family) and just grew in their house all these years. However, after my Grandmother passed in 2010, it has had a rough life - very neglected - very little water, no care, in the garage, etc.
I remember this plant having long (12"+) light green leaves that always grew out and laid over the sides of the pot. They would die off and new ones would shoot from the bulbs, continuously. I would estimate there were 10 or so bulbs at one time, but now I am down to just one. When I re-potted, the others were rotted and stinking, so I had to discard them.
This last remaining bulb has been in the new soil for about 1 year, but has made very little progress. I'd like to get it thriving again, to continue its 100 year legacy. Can you anyone ID this and give me some pointers on caring for it?
