I have read a thread on this topic here before but I can't find it in a search so here goes. I am making a spreadsheet to calculate each partner's share of a fixed distribution amount. There are several partners and they have different ownership shares. I want the sheet to calculate each partner's share and then total the individual payment amounts to make sure it all comes out to the original fixed amount. It is rounding individual payment amounts and then at the bottom it is giving me the total. The total agrees with the original amount on the sheet but when I add the individual payment amounts on a calculator the total is off a couple cents. I'm not sure why this is happening but I remember someone else having kind of the same problem. Thanks for any help! |
