I have  friends in Nevada. They bought a home there in 2007, on a variable note They paid $300k for the house. They say they have always kept up on the payments. They were recently told the bank wanted a $1000 more a month in payments, because the house had lost so much value. They couldn't explain that to me. Does anyone know what is going on with the housing, with the little info I am providing.
