Nebraska | I have owned and used SMS basic for about 10 years and am current on the latest version. I would like to use it for more than just printing my maps. I have written some planting prescriptions but it was a struggle the first time. What I want to do now is to create a map for my irrigated farms that has the irrigated circle and the corners separated. I would like to use this map to query my yield map to get the production off of the irrigated and dryland corners. I have been working on doing this but there has to be an easier way. What I tried was to create a new generic map using my boarder map as a reference. I added a circle for the pivot. Divided by poly-line to remove where the endgun is shut off for the roads. Now i need to add the corners. Is there a easy way other than drawing them in. Should I make a prescription map instead and make the entire field as dryland then overlay the pivot. Hope you can understand what I am trying to do and thanks for any help. | |
