| We have just started to send our grid soil samples to Servitech labs this year for analysis had been using Olsen previously. For now they are running their Mehlich 3 ICP test on it versus the traditional Mehlich test. I was under the impression that the P levels would come back a little higher than the original had been. Anyone else have any experience with this. I just got the first two fields back tonight and was surprised that the levels were so low. The fields we went and pulled the samples on are new fields this year and I am sure have never been treated with high fertility in the past so the levels don't really shock me. But they came back pretty close to what a low P reading would have been with the traditional test. Just didn't know if anyone has any experience with this and if I need to be making any adjustments as we move forward on the P readings. Thanks. | |
