Lost my phone in the field the other day but did find it and the screen is shattered and some pieces are missing. It will not turn on now but will make a tone every few seconds when I plug it in to wall charger. Im afraid if I send it to apple they'll just trash it and send me a new one. Id really like it fixed so i can have my pictures etc. It was not recently backed up. The only damage appears to be the screen. I thought about replacing screen myself but worried there might be more damage then that. Dont know anybody close by that repairs them. Any ideas?
