N. E. Indiana | I have a gehl grinder mixer with a hammer mill. I have been currently feeding whole corn because running the hammers with no screen in seems to make too many fines and the cattle sort them out. I remember seeing a mill once with a roller mill on it. Would this do a better job than the hammers and make few fines? Also I remember when grandpa had hogs he feed high moisture corn treated with acid so it didn't rot. Does anyone still do this and fed it to cattle?
