Subject: Dehorning aged feeders...

How big of horns are too big to burn?? Always used paste on calves when I milked. Now raising heifers and buying breeding age I don't have to deal with horns. Got some feeders from a guy that bought a farmette and thought he wanted cattle. Any ways I got them cheap but they have horns and nuts the horns are 1.5 inches (roughly) can I burn these?? Or do I have to cut them?? They are well fed animals and the price was right. Thanks for the advice!!
