Subject: Sheep grazing cornstalks

south east Indiana
This is the first year I have pastured my ewes out in the corn field after harvest. I am giving them more every other day or so. I see them picking through and getting the corn kernals but have not really seen them eating the leaves of corn shucks. I assume they will? Do they have to be hungry to eat them? Do I need to have something else out there for them to eat? Half of them are bred and will lamb in Feb-March, the other half not bred yet.
I really cant tell that they have been much of anything. 1st photo is where they have been for 5 days, 2nd photo they have been there yet.
