s.e. Pa | I have an older Farmex analog moisture meter for grain. It is a total waste. I can feel the grain and guess moisture content more accurately. I'd like a meter to get an idea on a hand shelled sample, before I move the combine and get started. Doesn't need to be perfectly accurate, but within a point or two so I know whether to stay home or start. I see mini GAC plus is Agtalk approved, but around $500. Are the $225 John Deere meters good enough for what I want to do? Or just a newer version of what I have? Thanks,
