Yesterday there was a farm injury in the area that should not have happened. Trying to save a few minutes will end up costing several months of healing, recovery, and rehab, not to mention the dollar expenses. Multiple cracked ribs, multiple cracked vertebrate in lower back, lacerated spleen & liver and a busted pelvis- multiple breaks. Recontructive surgery to happen in the next few days. Rehab and therapy will take several months.
So guys and gals, be careful out there.
Edit; Tried to jump onto a moving tractor with grain cart behind. Missed the step and before the operator could stop, the back tire got him. A short instance of not thinking has led to a long recovery.
