C KS | Adding shocks to our 2000 IH8100 and the parts guy said there are two listed, no explanation for either one. My truck has a 16000# front end with 20" between mounting points for the shock and 4 1/2 inches to the bumpers on the springs (as measured as setting level and empty).
One shock is http://www.stengelbros.net/66969-Monroe-Magnum-60-Class-3-to-6-Truc... 24.5"extended, 15.43" compressed
The other is http://www.stengelbros.net/65109-Monroe-Magnum-65-Class-6-to-8-Truc... 22.5" extended and 14 compressed.
The shorter shock is heavier duty, which I like, but it would only have 2.5 inches of extended travel beyond how the truck sets. I went with the longer shock because of more travel?
