| Purchased a new 2630 last winter (took delivery this spring for planting). Used in the planter tractor for the planting season. Last week I put it in the combine for the fall, fired it up and there was no backlight. messed with dimmer settings as much as I could with the little bit I could see. took it to the dealer, said it had to be sent it. got a text today saying monitor is done. no one in office when I picked it up so I grabbed it and left. called service manager later in the day and asked what they found. said old monitor was not fixable, this is a reman... my question is would you accept the fact that your new monitor had to be replaced with one that is no doubt older or would you press for a brand new one? im sure this one will be perfectly fine, but the fact that I paid a fair chunk for a new monitor makes me feel like I should have a new monitor. thoughts? | |
