Subject: Seed corn ads on tv

This time on year seems to bring out the seed ads on tv, during the times farmers watch. ( news morning and night, football games, things to that affect) Does anyone else think this is a waist of money, with only a small percentage of the people watching that actually farm, the cost would seem fairly high? I would think it would be better for everyone if they ran adds supporting agriculture in general. If they ran ads trying to educate the average person they could still put in subtle hits of the company paying for the ad. Like farmer wearing their seed corn hat or a seed sign along the field, we farmers would notice that but the average viewer might actually learn something. With prices low and inputs saying strong at least some of these companies could help educate or help promote demand. Just some thoughts after eating lunch.
