southern nebraska | Online auction today and bid on an item. I had the bid with 30 seconds and phone rang so I upted my max quite a bit in case I missed the end before I answered the phone. Well after my max increased, which I already had the bid, it also increased the time to 3 minutes although I did not think it would matter as no one was bidding. Well low and behold the bid jumped to right under my max, I still got it and would have bid up to my max but this is a little fishy. I truly believe cornlea can view max bid and runs the bid up to a max bid. Not happy and that phone call cost me a lot of money. I always thought the reason for putting in a max bid was so the computer can bid for you not for the company to bid against you. | |
