Subject: Liguid ballast in radial tires

Taylor, Tx
Bought used tractor that has radial rear tires (about 50% tread remaining) but has no wheel cast weights. I usually been running bias tires with water/antifreeze in them for ballast- (here in south central Texas). 18-4.38 Goodyear UltraTorque
These radials are tubeless currently. Cast weights are expensive and I would rather just use liquid ballast, but wondering if anyone knows of issues with running liquid ballast in tubeless radial tires? Ive been told if running tubeless, need to have liquid level about the rim so top of rim is not exposed and therefore wont rust.
