Subject: Silage in cows ration

Ne Nebraska
We have never chopped silage before and with the low corn price and having ample supply of low quality bales on hand (crp grass, rained on grass, etc) I an considering chopping a little silage and trying to get these used up. Will mainly be feed during calving and during snow events while grazing stalks. What I would chop would be 180 - 200bu irrigated corn. What kind of a ration would be your guess I would feed without having tests available currently? 50/50? 40% silage 60% hay? Thanks for any help as I have no clue of an idea to start punching numbers with.
