We have an irrigation pump feeding a permanent system and a towable.  The safety wire for the towable runs from the engine control (Murphy switch) underground 1300 feet to a center box then 300 feet each way to the towable risers.  I have a break in the 1300 foot section.  This is the second time in two years so I'm figuring the entire run is suspect and needs replaced.

I mentioned it to the local Zimmatic dealer and he does ... for $2800.  I've not priced 1300 feet of buriable wire yet but I figure I'll have that much in it by the time it is installed not counting crop damage

Has anyone got a wireless system to do that for less money ? I don't want to send data or operate the irrigator, just complete a circuit and break it when something goes wrong.
