1 hour south of Indianapolis | Our farm has never sprayed our own crops but we are considering purchasing one to spray our crops as well as another farmers. Our acres would be around 1,800 acres and the neighbors we would spray for would be 1,400 acres.
I would like to know if anyone has a rule of thumb for how acres per how width the sprayer?
Also if if you were receiving good service how much would you be willing to pay per acre of application?
FYI Mainly corn and soybeans. Fields are mainly square and would average over 75 acres in size.
