Subject: my very own be carefull story

western NY
Today I was in the shop and decided to rearch some field cultivator shanks that got bent up this spring. I've done this many times using our press but, today I had one snap and it flew up and almost took my head off. I was lucky because my 8 year old nephew was standing rite next to me and he was able to run to the house and tell my mother to call the ambulance. The shank made two deep cuts on my face and did they ever bleed but, never realy hurt. Ten stiches later I'm fine but won't try that stunt again. Being that I'm in the fire department about every member who heard the call showed up. I'm thankfull for everyone who came to help.
