a buddy of ours has a truck with a Dempster dry fertilizer spreader box. It is driven via a rubber tire off the one rear truck wheel. It apparently has a 2 speed hi-lo box to change ratios of application.
Our friend was using it and apparently the box came apart, and he has it taken apart and has determined he needs two new gears at least. he called around, and apparently these are semi-special gears, and no one has them. IIRC he said Dempster went out of business in the late 90s?
any help in finding gears, or even a spare box with a good gearbox, or a complete gearbox would be appreciated, thanks! | |
