NE Iowa | was cleaning up equipement yesterday and wondering what is the best way to take care of chains afterwards? specifically all the unit drive chains on the planter being #1 concern. I spraued them all down with a can of chain lube. my uncle and cousin used to take them all off and store in a bucket of used motor oil.
what do you all recomend after washing everything off?
I asssume they need a new coating?
or do you leave them dry so they don't collect as much dust while in teh field? | |
