Subject: Now that was fast...seeds a sprouting...

Just last Saturday my grandson helped plant cucumbers, kohlrabi, cabbage, and lettuce seeds in a starter tray. We watered it good and put the plastic cover on and I took it to the basement by an east facing french doors and put it on the concrete floor that has in floor heat. We went down two days later to see if it needed more water and we were very surprised to see half the seeds sprouting. Then yesterday I checked and everything is up with the cucumbers being up a couple inches already. Now I am wondering if I planted to early. I know I have to get them acclimated to the outside by setting them outside during the day. I never knew they would germinate that fast.

Brian from Oregon I planted a tray of the onion seeds too and they are starting to sprout too. Thanks again.
