North of London | Travelled east from Stratford today toward Kitchener.
Was surprised to find several fields (whole farms) of corn still waiting to be harvested.
Flew into Pearson airport 1st of March and noticed several more somewhere south of 401 and west of Toronto area and I know there are still several more in Oxford county that did not get harvested last fall.
Just wonder how much corn got stored in the field last winter?
BTW I also noticed several farms with tractors and other machinery outside the shop doors or machinery storage areas AND passed what looked like a brand new or nearly new 16 row JD planter going down the road.
Looks like spring preparation is started, now if we could just get the harvest wrapped up.
