Southern Indiana | My wife and I are looking to fire Direct TV and go with Internet TV. We don't have a smart tv but we have a late model flat screen. We are looking to use TWC high speed cable internet. We use TWC at our farm right down the road from our house and it hasn't been out for over a year. We have 2 small kids so I want something fast and reliable. My first question is: Is 20Mbps fast enough or do I need 50 Mbps? Do I need a blue ray/PS3 to "stream through"? If I get ROKU, HULU or NetFlix do I need a separate box to make it work? Obviously the kids like networks like PBS, cartoon, Disney, Nickelodeon. The wife and I watch a few shows but mainly on national networks. We would like to watch a few movies but not excessive. Which provider would be better? TIA | |
